(July 7, 2024) Swedesboro, NJ – Alex Yankowski led all 50 laps to secure a $5,000 victory in the South Jersey Shootout at Bridgeport Motorsports Park. The Kid Rocket from Pennsylvania held off a late charge from Danny Bouc to claim his first-ever Short Track Super Series win.
Key Moments
Yankowski started from the pole and quickly established a lead. He managed to navigate through lap traffic while maintaining his position at the front. With two laps to go, Danny Bouc closed in, but Yankowski stayed composed to take the win.
Danny Bouc, who started 13th, made a strong charge through the field to finish second. Anthony Perrego, who started seventh, finished third after a late-race battle with Matt Sheppard and Ryan Godown.

Yankowski skillfully maneuvered through lap traffic throughout the race. Bouc moved into second place after getting by Matt Sheppard, who had to check up due to a lap car. Bouc’s charge from 13th to second was one of the highlights of the race.
