(April 13, 2024) Pevely, MO – Saturday night at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 witnessed yet another display of Donny Schatz’s unmatched talent behind the wheel of a Sprint Car. The seasoned veteran, boasting an impressive 10-time World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car championship record, delivered a masterclass performance, further solidifying his status as one of the sport’s greatest drivers.
Amidst the electrifying atmosphere of “The Greatest Show on Dirt,” Schatz captivated the audience with his stellar performance. Starting from the fourth position in the 40-lap finale, he wasted no time asserting his dominance, seizing the lead on Lap 11 and steadily increasing his advantage throughout the race. Despite facing early challenges stemming from a 20th place Qualifying effort, Schatz showcased his resilience and skill, ultimately crossing the finish line for his second win of the 2024 season.
Carson Macedo emerged as a formidable contender, securing the second position after an intense battle with Bill Balog. The Jason Johnson Racing pilot, demonstrating remarkable consistency, continued his streak of top-10 finishes since early February, clinching back-to-back podium efforts with his strong performance.
Meanwhile, Buddy Kofoid and the Roth Motorsports crew secured the third podium spot, further solidifying their momentum with their third podium finish in the last four races.
